    Question connection to server failed.

    i JUST finished downloading DDO, i have NEVER played it and want to try it out cause ive heard good stuff about it, everytime i click the DDO icon on my desktop it just says Connection To Server Failed, Count Down To Next Attempt 58..57..etc, Can anyone help me out with this? only things to note is i downloaded like the standard quality version overnight, and im running the window in FireFox. thanks

    it still isnt working, anyone got any ideas?

    First make sure that Internet Explorer can connect to the internet (IE doesn't have to be the default browser just installed and able to reach the net) and it isn't set to "work offline" or otherwise "turned off" basically.

    Then run through the steps here and the connection related ones here but if its ongoing and you haven't yet definitely open a support request.

    After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.

    amazing lol i didnt have IE downloaded but i downloaded installed and bam there we go. thanks sooo much.
