    Default warchanter early spells

    I took the cure spell at level one. As I understand it, since I have a relatively low charisma, and won't be investing in any spell related feats, my CC spells won't work against targets unless I'm already higher level than them or something of the sort. So instead of CC, I should get...? What exactly? Looking at the level one spells, nothing immediately leaps to mind. I thought about charm person for now, thinking I could always swap it out later as it might be of some use in the early game. Summon monster? I will probably be soloing a lot the first few levels. Focusing chant seems like it might be good when it lasts longer for the cost, but at 30 something seconds it seems like a waste at this point.

    Could someone tell me some good spells to pursue through the first several levels? Thanks a bunch

    I always take Master's Touch first, for proficiency with all martial weapons. Cure Light is usually second. At third level, you get another first level spell, and the choice is a bit tougher. Focusing Chant is one good choice for a bonus to attacks and skills. Expeditious Retreat can also be useful for the speed increase. It really doesn't matter that much. When you get second level spells, I'd go for Heroism, Blur, and Rage in whatever order you prefer.
