What are the actual Wraith and Lich forms used in game? What benefits do each of these forms give? I was hoping to get some information so I could begin planning a new character..

I want to be a Wraith so I can fly through walls.

This could be interesting methinks, hoping for healed by negative energy, level drain on melee attacks, immune to crits/sneaks, stuff like that...

me wizard is a level 11 so I can't tell yeh

Do these actually change the characters form or is it just an effect like Fire Shield and wraps around you

with the change to crowd control the air elemental shouldnt be as much of a pain as it used to be so it's possible that was another step toward adding druid...

Also, the summons i'm wondering how useful they will be, the caster has it's negative energy aura which will affect everyone including you, great if your lich form heals you because of it but not cool at all if it hurts everyone, though i must admit summoning a caster mob is probably awesome, the melee and archer skeletons will probably pale in comparison, i'm not even sure if the archer will move with you...

I didn't see the ability to be healed by neg energy, especially since I was able to heal someone in lich form with the heal spell, and damage them with the harm spell.

I just got both on my wiz 20 Golari

The wraith info is correct. You also "glide" instead of walking.


The Lich info +4 con, +4 int (both stack on top of all else)
+2 DC to Necro

Chance to heal if hit


Red eyes and some shadowing shape that is around you.

The Wraith form LOOKS cooler. The Lich form is killer for DC's, spell points and HP.

Have you also tried out the touch attack at level 20?

Might be something nice to do if one wants to save some SP but still contribute..

yea, he used it on my cleric, on a failed save crit it did over 200 damage.
