Character Copy Feedback

The character copy worked extremly well. I had 5 toons copied and ready to play in about 10 min.

No issues at all.

I copied from Sarlona to Lamannia.

my points didnt copy over.and i couldnt play my 2 capped drow till i copied my favor toon over.so i didnt get to test anthing i was after.ie needed points

Hello I have done as instructed.
1. I am logged into my.ddo.com
2. Typed my way to http://my.ddo.com/charactercopy
3. I get an 404 error whats up with this?
I would like to go to lamannia am i going to have to get in with a level 1??
btw i am / was a beta participant
any suggestion (hopefully that will WORK)

I am wondering if the status of our copied characters will ever be reset. My live character has leveled significantly since character copy become available and I would like to refresh the copy(delete the test copy and recopy, etc)

Well I tried to copy some toons over to test a new build I wanna do and that was on Sunday and something went wrong I guess cause none of them ever got copied over. So I'm not impressed with it.

Yea this thing worked for me the first time i tried it, the first couple days..

But seems like it's broke now?

Any plans to ever fix it?

My last character copy attempt still not complete (previous copied took 1 minuit or less):

I was hoping that the characters had been wiped when Lama went live with the latest version. This is not the case

Please allow us to re-transfer failed attempts, I would love to test this material but my level- appropriate characters failed to transfer. Now that this seems to be out of the beta phase it would make sense to allow this. Lammania is, afterall, there so we can help turbine and gain intel on the new content ^_^

well i am still workin on character copy its been 8 hours now and its status is still in progress . how long will it take ?? can it be busted.. plz help !!!!

That probably means the transfer has failed and you will never be able to access that character on Lamannia, at least thats how it was for me.

well i am back 2 days now and still have not been copied, status in progress .from all the other threads i looked at it copys real fast . i am vip argonnessen . now what do i do . i dont want to start at level 1 . can it be reset ? i was looking forward to do some testing of update 4 but cant get my toons

Did a few copies on different accounts, all stuck saying in progress looks like it's broke.

Wish I could. But Looks like we are getting the same results here. I did this char copy thing back when it first came out on my account and it worked like a charm copied over in a matter of minutes. Now my wife just tried on her account and just tried to copy over 1 character and its stuck for hours now.

I have had the same problem....5 Characters copy...2 days ago...still in progress.

Sure would like to give some input into the new content, but until then, I guess I will discuss the problem with copying characters over to Lamania.

Yea its busted. Here is my educated guess as to the problem.

It was working and people were able to copy characters over up to a few weeks ago when they did that server move and everything was down for over 12 hours. Well my guess is the devs forgot to change the address to the new one(s). So now any copy that is tried the program is trying to copy to/from the old server address and its getting stuck because there is no server at that address anymore.

Good News! Its working. Looks like Turbine just fixed it this morning. I had a character sit pending for 7 days and now its finally copied over. Then I tried a second copy and it copied over in just a few seconds! See pic below. Thanks Turbine
