Is the fortitude save for the Xorian Cider random?

I rolled a 39 and failed it on the first gulp, lol. On casual.

Also, if you stand at the corner of a pillar and look down, there's a very strange landscape that is not a part of the instance. Not sure if this is because I'm Insane or not, though.

Also, is it impossible to advance the quest if you are Insane?

I used the jeweled key gained from the bar encounter to open the servant's door instead of the guest's room door and the servants room is empty except for a cooking fire and exhaust vent. Now I cannot go any further it seems due to the fact that I am missing another Jeweled Key.

    *edit*

I have a few screenies of the texture tearing if it's a bug..if not..I'll just laugh.

Best game. experience in a long time.

The hambie and clambies had me laughing so hard.

A drinking game with beholders? Are you fliipping kidding me? Loved it. Went I first went up there I thought holy **** 4 beholders at once I am going get roasted. Nope. Nice change of pace and a lot of fun.

The puzzles were insane (in a fun way). Thought I'd lost my mind when the key moved on me and I had to attack it.

The free hidden chest was fun to....a good reward for actually looking around and investigating stuff.

2 thumbs up. Xp was decent at just over 6k when I was done.

The one problem with this quest is that on the top floor, your camera can go through the roof pretty easily resulting in the room being occluded and only the skybox being visible.

tHERE wERE cLEARLY some ...... very ...... special .... substances...... involved during the storyboarding of this quest.....

    OMG...

    Drinking game...good start

the dialog of some of the people you are rescueing...priceless

the The mad ... clearly mad.... situation in the kitchen....

clearly some very bad water involved there....

    and

    then

    Alice thru the looking glass

    floor puzzles....

    beat them down to solve.....

    gheesh....

In some ways the final fight was a bit of a let down by being so

    "normal"

best of the bunch so far...

Gonna be a late night drinking quest....me thinks....

    This was... awesome.
The two bosses had a lot of health (Solo, normal), but I'm fine with that.
All the hilarious madness scenes were great. I loved the floor tiles. Mad props to the designer.

I got a laugh out of the final boss' mid-fight distraction. "Ooh! A puzzle! I must solve it!"

That beholder got me to 14 negative levels at one point then I finally failed my disintegrate save. Luckily the door barrier doesn't stay up when you're in spirit form so you can rez, rest, and go kick some red named beholder arse.

    I was doing decent damage I thought (2d8 + 10) + (1d8 bleed) + (1d6 frost) + (2d20 electric) plus had burst effect on critical...

alternated fists of light and storm strike 4 to keep the healing coming in and the damage going out...the floating numbers lag about 40 seconds behind when you're in GM wind stance and just sit there wailing on something so I couldn't get an accurate DPS count.

I take it you need lockpick to get the green key to the optional chest, as well as lockpick to get the other optional chest.

Look for secret doors for at least one of them....

I run around with True Sight generally in situations like this...

I had DM Vision on but saw no secret doors.

Normally I'm alerted by the BONG instead of the flashing wall, so it's possible I just missed it.

Thank you for including a Lost Legions themed quest!
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

    - I've been to so many raids, but I wouldn't call myself a vet, since I have yet to try out different strategies, tactics and classes in raids.

I didn't have trouble with ceilings, but the hallway that has the red curtains/banners? hanging from them were annoying. It covered up most of my screen asI moved in towards the doors.

Default ***SPOILER ALERT*** read no further if you want a surprise

This was the best one I played last night by far. Went in on Saaluta(20 CLR) and first thing I see is 4 beholders by the barman. Thinking OMG and one is named....so throw down a couple max emp bb's and go talk to the named...doh...drinking game with beholders well, there's some sp wasted...not a big problem though. Get through the drinking game fine, although maybe the dc on the fort save might be a little high for quest level, I was saving on a 9 or higher unbuffed(+26 fort save), but not too difficult to drink them under the table on normal.

Got to the next section and was actually pretty easy, few blade barriers, implosions, and destructions and good to go. Was nice exploring in regular and insane mode...found a few extra incentives this way Couldn't figure out how to get the key for a few minutes, due to the fact it stayed on the table looking at me. Once I got it though(hey I'm blonde) wandering key was pretty fun until I figured out the easy button...yep, 1 cleric spell and then throw down a bb for the named...

Got to the kitchen section and that was a blast, although the hobgoblin cook was another Coyle wannabe....but at least you can heal him...**clue**... since none of the other doors could be opened with knock, I didn't think to try it on the meat locker, but figured it out later.

Anyway, got down to the basement and had lots of fun there. The puzzles were loads of fun, and I truly loved how the named beholder was like a lot of people I play with(and myself for that matter) "OOH...another puzzle, must finish it." But made him way too easy to take down solo... Also the extra chests were not necessarily worth it, but they did give nice incentive to run this. Took me about 30 mintues the first time thru because I explored everywhere and about 15 the 2nd time...since I had explored it before.

Using the Guest Room key on the servant's door incorrectly destroys the Guest Room key, and prevents the dungeon from progressing. This was the other problem in this quest, totally forgot about it as it was kind of a oh well moment for me, only took a second to jump out and reset it with a friends help. But, definately needs to be looked into...maybe make a special key to that door with a couple monsters/bartenders and a small reward(like a tasty ham or another chest or optional xp, but make it a floating key...not necessarily in same spot twice)

This is the reason I have to reset the instance twice before I can porper progress quest (yeah, my first thing to do after pick up the key was going down Inn and see if any door I can unlock... *sigh*) Those unintentional bug better get fixed before it goes live.

yeah, I understand completely, of course, that's why we have the Lama server, so we can find the bugs and get them fixed before live...but I feel your pain

A blast, we need more quests like this!

Negatives..the clipping issues are horrible! My eyes actually hurt as I'm writing this due to the horrid clipping taking place throughout the entire instance. Seeing the Battlegrounds instead of the instance is bad enough, but when both are overlaying each other and flickering like mad..ugh. Might not be as noticable for some classes, but with a 20 Monk who's constantly jumping around, oh good gods it's horrible.
