How do I buy things in the DDO store that I am not eligible for?

I am getting close to level 20 and want to buy a Heart for True Reincarnation. I saw that they are on sale today, but when I went to buy one, it doesn't show up for me in the DDO store. Is there a way for me to buy items in the DDO store that I don't qualify for?

AFAIK, it's per item. They used to have a minimum level on the tomes as well, so they wouldn't show up in the store until you hit levels 3 and 7, but they changed that. It would probably need to be changed on their end to make it show up for everyone.

In general...no way.

The store was built with Idiot filters to prevent people from spending TP on things they could not use...at that time.

Overall it probably makes sense, because there would almost quaranteed been many many calls to support about people buying stuff they could not use and "wasting" their TP (ie Money) on that.

It does mean that unless you are already to use things like the Heart, you will miss out on sales. Turbine had to make a choice. Had they not limited it to level 20 required being able to buy, can you imagine how many calls they would have to field from players who choose not to read calling them (or emailing) about how they cannot use the Heart of Wood, it is broken, something is wrong, etc and it turns out they are only 12th level or something like that.

What character did you visit the store under?

As I'm sure last time I looked that was available to my character and they were only around Level 8.
