You think thats bad when we did "Ladies" only on Sarlona it was shocking how many dudes took it seriously

and no not the ones who tried to pretend to get in they were funny. But downright indignant men who were mad that a few ladies wanted to run sans testosterone.

As Minor_Threat put it people do tend to get offended by lfm's that they perceive to exclude them. Me I dont have the want patience or anal cream for them when they get hurt for being left out /shrug

I blame it on "Sensitivity Training." It's turning people into a bunch of sissies who get butt hurt over the slightest thing.

I find it funny that you think I'm the noob when I make a joke about you advocating an activity that is considered harassment and can get people banned.

Aside from that... it's just a jerk move.

I fully defend the OPs right to make an LFM any way he wants. I just wanted to point out that it won't always get you what you are looking for.

As an 1980s-American, I take dire and injury inducing levels of offense to that hurtful and malicious generalization and downright decadeism!

    Cammo & Grease?
I take it, you have never used it (grease),
Try greasing the ramp in the final fight, Depths series, House D,
Oh! Thats right, it's more than a game to you!
I have to go now! I need to go find a reference in the code of conduct for casting grease!

That had an effect, but it's all a symptom of a larger problem.

I blame it on parents who do absolutely nothing ( that works ) now-a-days to discipline their children, give them no sence of consequence for any action, and go out of their way to coddle and shelter their children against any consequences handed down from an outside authority.

That's why most peeps in their early 20s are still considered children now-a-days by the adults. They are immature for the most part, and simply haven't been prepared to deal with life the way we were.

Everythings always been just handed to them, and they've always gotten their way. Why shouldn't everything else follow suit??? How dare anyone attempt to exclude them from anything??? Don't other people realize how special they are???

I'm sorry, but if your child is mid-20s and still lives at home with no desire to find a job and be out on their own, there's really no use in *****ing about it, because it's your fault Lucy .

    * sigh * Tangent I know, but irresponsible parents who think that their child is entitled to everything, has no need to earn respect for themselves, that everyone should just recognize that the child is their's, and therefore a special person, ect, and then end up raising the child to believe this because of their actions, really **** me off.

Here I go again arguing on the interwebs.

The act of casting grease is not wrong. The idea of using it to reduce another player to tears is harassment. Harassment behavior is a bannable offense.

Nevermind... I'll just get back to the level of maturity this exchange is supposed to have...

:P I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you. :P

    What quests and what levels?

I would never bother to send someone a tell, but I'd probably think less of someone who put up an LFM like that...

    (1) As a TR uber-twink, you should be able to carry most quests no matter how bad your team is...

    (2) As a TR, you should be doing quests at or 1 above level to maximize your exp... which means the quests you should be doing are even easier...

    (3) There are plenty of good players who are not TR... If you want to be picky, that's okay, but be picky about the right things... "Cult of Six - Be self-sufficient" is a smarter LFM than "Cult of Six - TR only" (and will fill faster)

That made me curious, so I went and looked up the code of conduct.

Yeah, Tangleroot is so hard with sub-standard players. It must have been terrible! <rolls eyes>

Except that; He never said it was hard.

The LFM asked for " experienced ", and they had several apparently who didn't even know where house P was.

    What does that tell you?

I know you're joking.. but any TR should be able to solo Tangleroot... Even casters! There are plenty of shrines in there...

And if you say "I was doing elite Tangleroot at level 4" (as a TR), then you're doing it wrong. If you're going to TR, you better learn how to maximize experience...

Tells me that some people don't read LFMs like they should... I still question why any TR would need "experienced" (or even ANY!) people to get through Tangleroot...
