Occasionally someone wants one and doesn't have one. But there are a ton of these sitting in people's banks and ingredient bags wasting space. With the influx of new players hitting Vale age, you might be able to sell one for something in the X0,000 plat range--but it might not sell at all.

That's to some extent true, but now they have an extremely low drop rate (seems close to 2% as I seldom ever see one).

I'd be interested to see what sort of fortune they go for on the newer servers once they have a significant Shrouding population. I expect they'll be worth multiple large scales, it's just that the excess ones on the main five servers haven't been used up yet.

I was looking for one on the AH last night, and the cheapest I could find one for was 3 million gold... but there were only 4 listed. I ended up just getting one from a friend who has a stack of them.

They are one of the five most valuabile items for trade now on Cannith.....worth multiple large scales.....is funny the new economy values vs servers that piled them up pre usefullness pre drop rate reduction, if they did reduce the drop rate which it seems to have done.
