I just downloaded the game, didn't play before.
When I get to the character creation screen, after a random time of some seconds it freezes.
There are no error messages.
The music continues for a while but then starts to loop in short intervals that get shorter and shorter and at last there's only a buzz.

I just updated my graphics and sound drivers and that didn't help.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and have a nVidia GeForce 8800 GT graphics card, an Intel Core2 Duo E6750 and a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 motherboard with built in Realtek High Definition Audio sound card.

As a side note, I used both the Turbine client and the Full Version High Definition download client to install the game in paralell. Might that be the problem?
Otherwise... What should I do to solve this problem?
