We are a very relaxed pd guild allowing full use of game elements with the death factor still in play, we do allow use of ah and all brokers so we tend to have higher lvl toons because of this, but that being said its still a chalange and a death is still a death.

I read your ruleset and am interested IF I ever get around to rolling another toon and you guys are still around. Your rules don't have the restrictions on AH/brokers/consumables that have prevented me from joining a PD guild in the past.

Pretty sure that's going to violate all the equipment rules unless it was a PD toon in the first life.

This is very interesting. I was only discussing this with my PD friend the other day. I am in a PD guild that is very liberal and I am very happy there although we were discussing the possiblity of different rules like -

Being able to use whatever is available within game and whatever means are available to be the best that is possible. However there is not such thing as raise. You die... youre dead. That would be the only rule. No shrines, no scrolls no spells.

Your guild sounds very close to these rules.

I am totally sold out to my guild on Sarlona and the chances of me playing on Argo again are extremely slim... however ya never know you luck in a big city

just a quick question reguarding your PD Guild... well ok it refers to all PD Guilds.
When I walk into a tavern and see members of your PD Guild PvP'n, should this be considered an act of suicide by said members?

I don't play PvP with my PD character, but if I did I wouldn't count it as being dead for good and this is the only time I wouldn't.

Most PD guilds don't either that I have seen.

I cant speak for the other guilds but our guild the answer is no to PVP or Outside of Quest places like Marketplace/Harbour, death here is not counted as death. Except in the case of a live event in the general areas e.g. like aliens landing, beholders being let loose, succubus gone wild etc, if you died in this kind of event it would be considered death from what I understand.

Most PD Guilds do not count PVP as a Death, but more as a personal choose to entertain themselves for a brief period of time!!!!

I once had a Permadeath toon in the Pit at the lobster, and after a player killed me he/she started demanding I delete and that they were going to post how I was cheating the permadeath rules, some people just don't get it!!!

When you see that PD toon school someone who has full access to AH, Brokers, and Twinkage from the account holders higher level toons, what does that say?
