    Default Axe Murderer (TWF)

Edit: Since posting this, I have made a few changes to accomodate Improved Trip, and take into account a couple of improvements (IMHO), notably the feat swaps.

This build is a variation on the 12/6/2 Monster builds, with a Dwarf (instead of WF or Halfling) dual-wielding Dwarven Axes. Since this is my second toon, first being a maxxed Sorc, I do not have a long reserve of uber-tomes. I do have a few, and the usage, as you will see is very modest, so presumably this will be accessible to other semi-noobs such as myself. It is a 32-pt build, with Improved Trip, and the respective enhancements for it and Dwarven Axe usage. I have no idea how this would fare against the classic khopesh builds, and I'll leave that to the experts.

One note all the same: the order of the build is a variation of the suggested order by Thanimal (my thanks to him), and follows 2 ranger/2 monk/6 fighter/4 ranger/6 fighter. The main advantage of Ranger 1st instead of Monk is the number of skill points one starts with: 28 instead of 20. This means that the first prestige arrives at lvl 10 (Kensai I), instead of Tempest at lvl 8, but it does have a few compensations. Early access to Fighter perks such as Haste, toughness, and more feats earlier on. It also means 3 scheduled feat swaps.

The first would be swapping the favored enemy Undead for Evil Outsider (I like the Giant even at later stages, but feel free to tell me to swap Undead instead), when Vale-ready. This one is the easy one.

The second is for Improved Two-Weapon Fighting. Rangers get it for free at level 6, but as the order stands, that would mean waiting until level 14, which is excessive. Here I take it at level 9, and at level 13, just before leveling to 14, I swap it out for Improved Critical.

The third and last is for Improved Trip which I take at level 12, but will swap it out for Iron Will before leveling to 18.

The reason for all this is simply the feats I am allowed for Fighter bonus feats, otherwise I wouldn't have the feats I wanted.

I timed the enhancements pretty tightly, notably when prestige enhancements are up, as well as Fighter Strength at lvl 15 (last to be taken at lvl 15) so that it coincides with the stat raise at lvl 16.

It looks pretty decent, but I await the comments by the experts.

At level 4 when I enter (Veteran status of course), I will consume a +1 Tome in STR, DEX, CON, INT, and WIS. Tomes I don't have are bought in the DDO store.

I see you took no UMD. Can this char use Heal wands or are you restricted to pots?
I'm not familiar with Rangers and if they come wand ready or not.
