Lag spikes

I use Mediacom and have had no noticeable spikes when playing other games.

However, from load time to later in the game I have noticed increased lag spikes leading to ghosting and teleporting back to where i was standing moments before. Needless to say this has been curtailing my ability to play effectively.

Has anyone else experienced these problems recently or have any helpful suggestions?

lag spikes have started to appear. first time was this morning and now i cant play the game.
i am from south east asia, philippines.

i never have this problem before except on the first day of free to play day. by the way, i am not a vip player.. i buy packs as the time that i need them to access for xp.

Hello there,

I am from eastern US and have never experienced lag before in DDO. I did internet speed tests, and my computer is working fine. As of today, the game is nearly unplayable. This may be due to high traffic because of the holidays here. Actually, I cannot get logged into the game after restarting it once, because the download rate is averaging 0.01kpbs.

since september i have been playing no issues what so ever, until today, unplayable for me as well.

contacted my ISP, everything thing is fine between them and my router, internet speed test rock solid

yet i log to the game, geting huge loss, and freeze for a minute, move for a minute, back and forth.

Pretty much the same as you east coasters , i'm in florida, my latency in game reads normal as always, solid 50's, however i'm getting hit with massive packet loss to the point where i can no longer play.

Any chance we can get a word on this turbine?

talked to few friends and it seems that everyone on the east side was having problems. mine got fixed 2 hours ago and i am hoping it wont happen again.

It seems in game I get severe lag spikes and I cannot create any new characters either.. Im on the East coast of the US and I hope Turbine fixes this problem Asap!
