Hi there, everyone. First off, I love my guild but we are not very large so sometimes I am the only one on. The raiding picture will be rather tight in the future, but that doesn't bother me as I absolutely love the people I am with. Basically, I am just here saying "Hey! If you'd like someone to fill out your party, let me know!" Soloing is a very strange "chore" as of late as I am not familiar with most of the quests in this game as I just started in late July. Despite that and with the help of my friends I have gotten a pretty well set up monk with paralyzers/banishers/smiters/etc and a template I feel that will excel if I can get it up there.

Here are my characters:

Pluspetite - 14 Monk - Light side, and yes I will cast Aligning the Heavens on you
Quietwalker - 2rog/2monk - going to be the big stick build but I haven't played on him much as I'd like to get Pluspetite up as far as possible!

I'm a VIP, so adventure packs are not an issue.

I just haven't really had any luck with the LFG tool in game, as most of them when I play are either in Romanized Chinese, Portuguese, or are for favor runs where I wouldn't get experience. I lucked out the other night with a great group to do Prison of the Planes, though, and had a blast even though we had a few deaths.

what times do you play?

I only ask because i see quests up for all level ranges most of the day.

Generally between 5pm-10pm est, though in the next week or so it will be a lot more as I am on vacation.

I always uncheck the "show all" button so it only displays what people say is in my level range, then when you take out the people who misquote the korthos and market quests as being 1-20 etc, it leaves very few in the 14 range. Or they will post that it is for 11-14, but then tell me "no" when I whisper them and ask to join because it will "nerf the experience" of the person who joined that is level 11.

I have had some good experiences and some bad experiences, I just figured I'd write up a post in the effort of meeting new people, and perhaps find some quests to run that I haven't experienced yet.

And to clarify, I have nothing against the Portuguese and Chinese groups, I just don't speak those languages so I would assume that it would be extremely difficult to communicate. Bring on the Frenchies, please.

well for the people that think u being lvl 14 and telling u that it will nerf there experience then they have no idea what there talking about unless its a lvl 11 quest or something , but then they should have the lfm up accoordingly to the level of the quest and thats not your fault

There have been tons of LFMs for 10 thru lvl 16 up after 8 PM Pacific--Also, I group with French and Chinese groups all the time, it is not as big of a communication issue as you might think. Sometimes you just need to be dilligent and fast with the LFM panel --when we throw an LFM up it fillls quite quick. Last night we picked up a guy for a 5 hr stretch --we started in the Desert and then moved on to other things, so sometimes joining a solid group for something you dont really want to do can turn into hours of great grouping where you move on to doing some things that you want to do.

If you dont see a group for something that you want to do. . .you should start your own, youd be surprised how fast it fills if you just do it on Normal and take first come first serve --most quest do not need a dedicated healer on Normal setting--and only a few need specific things like an INT person for runes.

I had a great time with the LFM panel last night, though it was a lot fuller than it normally is for me!

I got myself an Icy Raiment and it only took 6 runs!

I figured that some sort of post karma would come and that I'd find some groups after I posted this, too.
