Shroud run ... PUG looking to fill 4 spots, already have two healer-types, 2 casters, bard, and rogue ...
So what's left? DPS, right?
Well the LFM only has barbarians, fighters and palladins. When I ask the leader why, the response is "we need some heavy DPS". I asked about the other 2 rangers already in the group, they are non-commital ... but to my utter amazement ... they are holding bows!! So I get a little worried ...
This got another dude in the group all fired up and he goes off about TWF rangers being able to kick some serious butt ... to no avail. We wait for the spots to fill ... one more ranger - ranged build of course

- a fighter and a paladin.
So, part 4 ... 3 rounds ... uggg
Part 5 ... disaster ... harry is running around like an idiot since we have no one to melee and hold him in the acid fog. Rangers are dropping like flies ... clerics are getting ****ed because noone is close enough to each other to mass heal. The bard (me) is going through heal and raise scrolls (and a few mana pots) like mad ... but we make it.
Verdict ... I LOVED IT!! This quest was so boring when we had a plan and stuck to it. You could sleep through a Shroud before DDO-EU, everyone knew what to do, and there was never a speed bump, let alone a chance for failure.
So I learned something ... rangers range, fighters fight, and wizards wiz ... the role has always been hidden in the class. I should have seen it earlier!
LONG LIVE THE PUG!! When the game gets boring, jump in that Elite Pit led by a 6 Rogue/1 Cleric ...
