    Default Free Adventurer's Society(Ghallandia)

The FAS is not a true guild in that we have no charter nor an official guild
roster and chat line. We exist not to grind endlessly for perfect xp and min max PC's.

Instead we will use this thread to post your characters name whom you wish to be a part of an Idea. All who view this thread then add the name to thier friends list for the character they wish to add and so on.

So what is the point if we do not seek to lvl and perfect our characters in a viscious
never ending cycle? We Adventure! WE band together no matter lvls and seek out those free quests we can all enter and persue the fun of battle, the joys of good company to banter with, and the never ending pleasure of opening a hard won chest.

I see this as just a new twist on the game in much the same way as perma death guilds do to find a different way to breathe life into our experiances. Can it work? I dont really know how it might effect lower lvl players who may miss out on XP if teaming with high lvl mentors but loot and learning a quests layout are just as useful as making some xp. I have spent some of my time recently exploring what I can do for free as a former subscriber who atm is more interested in what I can do without investing anymore in the game for now.

Bringing a lvl 7/6/4 Thief-Acrobat/Tempest/Fighter to the field myself so I know XP will most certainly be dead in most of the FTP quests Ive been eyeing for this idea. Some quests we could do might definatly be harsh on those under 8 especially but I think the fun all could have be a great reward, and loot should always be good enough to sate any but the most hard core loot hunters who likely stay in the never ending hunt for whatever the current big thing is to grind for.

Being one who plays alot and on nothing resembling a schedule I find guilds rarely offered me much as most in them do the usual 9-5 jobs and have fams which is cool but if I play during the day and am ready for a break by evening I wont be working much with them until my later game shift IF the mood to play hits me again. So for those who are more casual and play when you want I think this would be a good way for us all to band together to help provide a large enough pool for all to be able to find at least a few partners for some casual dungeon looting.

I dont know if RP is done much anymore on DDO never seemed to be as big here as in most MMO but I dont see anything wrong with calling it RP friendly meaning if you want to act like an obnoxious drunk dwarf or an arrogent prick elf I say go for it

    Default Yep

Im in. Sounds like a good idea to me. Strakyn - Level 12 Wiz. f2p. im not concerned about Exp anymore. Just more interested in having fun and not getting bored of the game. Some challenges are still good but i know theres not alot of stuff for f2p players after level 12. Doesnt bother me if i party with a level 1 and a level 20, as long as its fun and its not full of beggars. I dont mind helping new players and i like to learn from more experienced players too....just cant stand the really new thats all about gimme gimme gimme.

And i wouldnt say im arrogant...but i am a prick, and an elf haha! ; )

Im on most evenings US EST times and during the day on the weekends.
