Game minimizes

Im at work at the moment but ill post my dxdiag when i get home. I have an older PC but im above the minimum requirements to play ddo. And for 3 months it was fine. Its only the last 2 weeks while im playing, and it can happen at any time, my game just minimizes to the task bar, freezing my computer up for about 2 mins. I am dc'd from the game though and after a few minutes the game disappears from the tool bar completely. Eventually i can relog back in. i do have all the settings on the lowest possible because i know my pc is older. What i do know is i have 1.25 GB Ram, 80 gig hard drive, radeon 950 graphics card (64 MB memory) , P4 processor. windows xp
Sorry im not too computer savvy but thats the basics.
Ive tried playing with my firewall and antivirus on and off and it doesnt seem to make a difference to these crashes.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Or how i could fix it?

If the game minimizes, that would typically mean something is stealing focus.

Almost anything can steal focus, but it's usually something like a notice about windows updates, firewall notice, antivirus starting, instant messages, incoming emails or things like that.

Take a look at what is running on the computer and disable them or shut them down while playing.
