I'm quite new to DDO, and I find that when I spot something with stealth, and then it goes out of range, I can no longer see it. This doesn't seem to be the case for the player, though. If I'm sneaking around with my rogue, and stab an ogre in the face, and then run away and hide, I would presume the ogre wouldn't see me coming again, as long as I take the standard stealthy measures of staying behind, etc. etc.

It's not a huge inconvenience or anything, but I decided when rolling my rogue to grab the dragonmark of Shadow, because I assumed the invisibility would make me disappear, leaving the enemy dumbfounded, as would I be if the NPC I was fighting suddenly vanished. In fact, a couple NPCs have such an ability to completely vanish, rendering me vulnerable to an attack, looking around frantically trying to avoid taking damage.

Is there any player equivalent of this, or should I just switch that feat out on account of there being no point in invisibility for a rogue?
