    Default A question about shrines

    1. Ok so whats the timer on Shrines, Im a returning player that just cant remember and ive heard ALL types of answers in the process. I tried searching for shrines and shrine times but alas i got nothing i was looking for.

    2. I know heal works to increase the HP's you get back at a rest shrine. Is there really ever a number high enough that a human fighter can rest and get full health back? Currently its at 8 and im only getting about 1/2 so far. (was just curious about this one)

    1) I think its 15 min on normal. 5 or 10 for explorer areas. No reset on hard/elite
    2) Don't bother with the heal skill, its almost useless, increasingly so as you level.

    If you look at a rest shrine in the game, right click it, then click the magnifying glass (or the letter Z) and look at the text. It'll tell you how often shrines reset (or don't) based on dungeon difficulty.

    Also, the shrine uses the highest Heal skill that's "near" to a resting character. So if you can get your cleric to hang around, it'll help you get more points per rest. Exactly how many? Don't know exactly. But when my buddy's fighter rests he gets fewer when he's solo than when my cleric is nearby.

    From this thread:

    Fleshies use the following formula to recover HP at shrines.

    3* (Healing Skill + Character Level) + 10

    WF use the following formula to recover HP at shrines.

    (Repair Skill * 3) + 10

    Now you know. And knowing is half the battle!

    Great to know. And kudos for including the link to the other thread. Very handy, indeed.

    Why are the formulas different?

    In that post there's a quote from Eladrin;

    'WF don't heal naturally the way humanoids do (but we don't bleed out either)' so resting doesn't give WF the same hp recovery.
    Meh.....
