    Default Thief Acrobat

Are there any Pure Halfling or Warforged Thief Acrobat Builds on the boards? I've searched but haven't found one.

I really prefer not to Multiclass and most of the builds I have seen push towards monk etc.

    Default How about this?

I threw this together using whats posted on the compendium. I not convinced on going Q-Staff STR based. I really just like the idea of rogue, but not much into the ninja aspect of sneak etc.

Like I said just put this together of the compendium, can some you the experts take a look and give some honest advice. I want to be able to take care of the traps, but help benefit the group. Thanks

I think the reason you do not find any pure rogue acrobat builds is that the assassin pre vorpal sneak attacks effect is so nice. If a tier three acrobat came out with innate trip or stun on natural 20 sneak attacks you would see more pure acrobat builds.

Currently the highest level rogue you need to be to master the thief acrobat pre is 12, though 13 is a good idea for the extra rogue bonus ability. Tier 2 assassin pre not being nearly so nice.

Edit: If you are trying to work up a staff using acrobat you may want to pick up the two handed weapon line of feats, and look at this build for ideas. http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=158960

Roger, so going pure 20 acrobat really holds no current benifts towards that lvl, unless you are hoping for something better to come out down the line.

Well as a build to play around with, with the intentions of going to 20 pure, can anyone make any suggestions on feats etc? Just go with what the compendium states?

Im just looking for a build that I can have fun with, disable some traps, do some damage.

Replace Two weapon fighting feats with two hander fighting feats
    Reorder some feats
Replace exotic weapon prof kopesh and oversized two weapon fighting with other feats.
Replace imp crit slashing with Crushing.

    * If nonhuman lose 1 skill and 1 feat.
** dex tomes not needed for feat prerequisites if built as a two handed weapon user

Edit: perhaps a better base build for you to modify as a staff user.

I know your not into multiclassing but I am lvling a WF 13 rogue, 6 ftr, 1 monk build and I have to say so far he has been the easiest build to solo so far. Granted He is only lvl 9 well lvl 10 but holding off on taking lvl 10. Still to much mid lvl quest xp to get :P .

Right now I believe the best way to take the lvls is 1st lvl rogue 2nd lvl monk then all the rest of the way to 12 rogue then your 6 ftr lvls for more dps then your lvl 20 as your rogue 13. I would say play with the character builder and see if you like it. I know I do

If you leveled that way you wouldn't be able to max out your rogue skills like DD/search/umd, etc. Better to mix the fighter levels in so you can keep up on those skills. I would suggest throwing in 1 fighter level for every 2 rogue levels or something like that to keep everything maxed. Unless you don't want to be that kind of rogue that is...

I myself have a 13 Rogue, 6 Fighter, 1 barb and she is incredibly fun to play.

Congrats on your decision to join the ranks of the acrobat.

I've got quite a bit of experience with my third generation halfling Acrobat who is currently True Reincarnated to level 19 (17 rogue/2 ranger).

Going pure 20 rogue is a good way to go. Remember there will be additional capstones released down the road, so you're in a good position going pure.

    My original 32 point build (17 rogue/2 ranger/1 fighter) from 18 months ago: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=152398

I true reincarnated because I wanted 18 levels of rogue to take advantage of the acrobat 3 enhancement once it is released.

Why two levels of ranger? There are synergies and things I like (free TWF which allows me to get all my desired feats), but when it comes down to it, I typically create non-traditional concept builds when it comes down to it and then min/max within the concept. Not too many ranger splashed acrobats walking around.

Currently my TR has the following:

    Feats:
    Toughness
    Weapon Finesse
    SF: UMD
    ITWF
    GTWF
    IC:P

Starting stats/current stats (36 pt build):
    Str 12 /20 (+2 tome + 6 item)
    Dex 20 /40 (+2 tome + 5 level up + 4 feat + 6 item +3 exceptional from tod acrobat ring).
    Con 16 /24 (+2 tome +6 item)
    Int 8 /10 (+2 tome)
    Wis 8 /10 (+2 tome)
    Chr 8 /10 (+2 tome)

    Skills (maxed):
    UMD
    Jump
    DD
    OL
    Search
    Spot
    Tumble

Overall, things I prefer from my experience:
    1. Need hp - Don't be the 200 hp (or less) gimp rogue. I must have toughness and a good con never hurts). Shroud hp item necessary.

    2. Int, Wis, Chr as dump stats. I get all the skills I desire above with a 8 int. With the right items equiped I use heal scrolls at a 95%. Low will saves makes getting helpful equipment important.

    3. Don't worry about the balance skill as an acrobat - immunity to knockdown w tier 2

    4. I pump my dex. With the 9 uncanny dodges I get, plus the +4 dex clickie I get my ac easily self buffed into the low 60's (while TWF) for significant stretches.

actually I have enough int to keep search, dd, and open lock will get maxed out at lvl 20 which wont fall to far behind. Umd on my toons being a wf with no points spared for cha will not have a very useful umd anyways to really bother keeping it maxed. Umd should still be high enough buffed to use rr items though.

Well for the one lvl you could put alot of different classes there such as barb, monk, cleric, wizard. They all add something pretty nice to the build. Barb with the rage, monk for the ac, cleric for the healing and wand usage, and wizard for the shield spell and other useful lvl one buffing spells and arcane wand usage. Just depends on what you want out of your build I guess

also remember if you WF acrobat you will have to ask yourself what am I not immune too :P I think with tier 2 acrobat and being WF you will end up being immune to like 10 different things in game almost like being a red name yourself LOL.
