    Unhappy DDO Store won't display

I have tried all day to get the DDO store to load on different computers, logged in to different servers, both once loading a tune and from the initial toon selector screen, all with no success. No matter what I do on this account the store won't load. I just see a black window with nothing on it. I click the home button or back all with no change.

I have left the window open for 20 minutes, closed it and opened it later, closed it and opened it many times. Nothing makes any difference.

I am starting to wonder if it is not something I can fix and is account related. Other accounts on the same computers can get to the store no problem.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it, as I would like to spend some points! Thanks

Moving this over to the Technical Assistance forum.

There are several causes of this occurring. To start try this:

Exit the game and the launcher/TDM if they're open. Then open C:\Program Files\Turbine\Dungeons and Dragons and in there look for a folder named "Browser".

Right-click that and choose "Cut" then switch over to your desktop and choose Paste. Realunch DDO and it should pull an updated one.

If it still opens blank open up C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc and look for the file "Hosts". Right-click on it and choose Open With > "Notepad".

Once the file opens in notepad look for the two lines below:
    127.0.0.1 ssl.google-analytics.com #[urchinTracker]
    127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com #[Google Analytics]

    To match the example below:

    #127.0.0.1 ssl.google-analytics.com #[urchinTracker]
    #127.0.0.1 www.google-analytics.com #[Google Analytics]

(both options might list differently but the website addresses will be the same)

Click on the "File" menu and choose "Save" in Notepad. Exit the hosts file, reboot the PC and then relaunch DDO to test.

If it keeps up definitely open a support request.

NOTE: The Customer Support forums are best for Player-to-Player help, for more direct and official support, please submit a ticket to the appropriate team via the form here.

After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.
