Default Sublime Permadeathers Enter The Island!

    There goes the neighborhood!

Five Permadeathers, ranging in level from 16 to 18, got curious about the Path Of Inspriation and the new Quest Series. So... we did it!

Keep in mind that we don't really raid (not a lot anyway) and we are not farming the shroud for stuff to make green steel weapons. etc etc..
So being able to do something like this was a real treat for us... and I have to say...
    WE ARE ADDICTED!

Ghandalf's Ghost pulled a Dream Sickle. I WANT one of those!

So anyway... we got a little curious.. again.. and we decided to do Lord Goodblade's new quest... then we went to the island and did... some quest wehre we find a Titain at the end... that was cool.

All in all, it was really great and I like the quests series a lot! Also... we have made Sublime Permadeath History!

Since Lessah is too lazy to do it...

    Caption to image #1:
First we have the wonderful Drow Sorceress Gedrixx then there is the astute Wizard Bartzzt. With his dashing green hair stands the highest cleric in the Sublime: Kalland (Lessah). In front of the highest level Sorc in Sublime Bluemercury stands Kasquik "the Mighty!". Last but not least is the dwarf Natches (the second? highest Cleric in the Sublime).

    Caption to image #2:
Once again we see Gedrix, Bartzzt, Kasquik and Kalland. New to the group is Rhese; the second 20th level monk in the Sublime (18 at the time of the Path of Inspiration run, I think). This was actually a separate session and as such the group composition was a little different since not all were online at the time (Natch and Blue).
Notable loot pulled in this second session includes two +2 Tomes (CHA and INT, much to the rejoice of the Wizard and the Sorc) and a +2 Vorpal Great Axe of Pure Good (wielded by Kasquik in the picture).

I admit, no offense, but I'd be way more interested to hear how you guys find doing one of the 4 Amrath flagging quests.

None of the IQ/DD quests have anything in them challenging enough to kill a permadeath player.

I agree, at least on the difficulty we ran it on (normal).

As for Amrath... we'll get to it at some point.

I pulled a Death's Touch (not a dream sickle), no idea what to do with it yet though.

    Pretty impressive..

Remember, this is being done on a ruleset of unrezable death = reroll.

Challenge #1 is getting a group to this point, where you can even run the quest.

These are people who have not run the shroud 900 times in order to have plus 3 insite to every stat, 45 more hp, weapons that crit blast damage, etc...No pimped out raid loot in every item slot - chattering rings, icy rainments, dragontouched, you know the drill.

Quests a group of 16 - 20 shrouded out dragontouched non PD toons can crush are being run on PD toons, many of them players who have never run the quests before.

I don't know what that big green mechanical thing is, but I hope to some day. Cool stuff.
