well been downloading for week only got 13%...turbine says its 1kb/s R and S.


know i just download a like 2gb file in less then a hour will playing DDO...so don't think its my internet i also keep turning of my anti-virus and still nothing...


i made like 8 characters XD and i wanna get off the island now but can't ... : (

Try going into TDM's options (button in the upper left corner and choose "options") and in there under the "network" tab verify the settings there, make a note of what number is in the "Port" section (for replacing later if anything odd occurs) and then manually change it to 9014, click Ok and let TDM recycle through a connection, if its still going really slow also try (under Options again) disabling "Use peer to peer".

This may be a slower connection but could connect where p2p was failing. Another thing to try is to try bypassing your router (if you connect with a separate router and modem supplied by your ISP) by connecting to your isp's modem directly.

Other than that also try a clean boot of Windows to test (be sure when doing those steps that you do not disable any of the "Turbine" options listed under "Services" or "Startup Items"). You can later after testing put Windows back into a normal boot up by undoing those clean boot changes.
