bonus??

so am i the only one that thinks a bonus is something extra given above and beyond what is due? turbine was selling points right around something like 3000 points for 33$ give or take. so now they are selling 3000 points for 48.75. with 1950 "BONUS" points. im confused. is turbine going out of business and had a liquidater come in and jack up prices insanely high to mark them down to look like a better deal when you are still paying the same price as normal. if turbine is going to offer bonus points make them just that. dont try and trick people into thinking they are getting a deal when they arent they are just getting about the normal price. no bonus included in the offers if they are normal price give or take a dollar. come on now

Unfortunately, that's how marketing works. You see it everywhere. It's just that when you are actually there for the change (as in knowing what the old prices were before the new "bonus" terminology), it makes it seem silly.

But that's marketing for you. It never makes sense unless you're completely new to [insert product name here]. I work in marketing, and even I don't care for it...but you get used to it.

I just really wish they didn't get rid of the 900 point bundle.
