    Default Prestige Enhancement Comparison??

Hi all. Started when the game was released (bought CE), and just recently came back after a long time away.

I've been playing with several characters, and have a few IRL friends that also play. While I was a bit reluctant to make a Paladin initially (due to being listed as best solo, figured it would be overrepresented), I've been having a lot of fun with him so far (currently lvl 7 dwarf with TWF and ITWF).

My question to all is on the Paladin Enhancements. Specifically, I have been reading through the forums looking for some kind of well written comparison on the 3 different prestige enhancements. I did find that HotD is least recommended (apparently) with KotC and DoS being more popular.

In my case, I plan to focus on DPS more than Defense and had been considering going with HotD, but after reading a lot of posts, im not so keen on that plan atm. (char link:http://my.ddo.com/character/ghallanda/dars/)

I did read through the compendium data also, but I'm really looking for some feedback from those who have used these enhancements, especially anyone that has tried all 3 as to which one is most useful (Overall; by level range; in instance X; etc.)

Thanks in advance for any useful input on this

From what I understand at the moment, KotC is giving you bonuses while facing undead as well, not only evil outsiders. someone can correct me if I am wrong but it seems KotC is a no brainer atm while comparing HotD and it.
Also, keep in mind that you can rearrange your enhancements for a few plats every few days, so this decision will not come back and bite you in the backside later, should you change your mind.

HotD isn't bad at all. Just not enough high level undead to take advantage of it yet. One thing that is very nice is the ability to negate level drain etc. Nice to take on a beholder and not worry about neg levels.....should be very handy to be an agro grabber on VON 3 Epic when they release it.

I'm considering going Hunter of the Dead while I'm in the mid-range, heavy-undead levels and then switching to Knight when I get to higher level stuff (i.e. more extra-planer bad guys).
