    Default Twisted Fate

Twisted Fate is not a quest chain, or raid, it is a guild. When you see an LFM up that says "Twisted Fate", please stop asking me what the pre reqs are for it. Most of you understand this concept, but apparently a few of the newer players aren't realizing that this is a Guild Run. Thank you, that is all.

couldn't you just put up an lfm with nothing in it? your guild should know who you are that would stop most of the questions

Or maybe 3 extra words, "guild members only"? That *should* make sense to most people with half a brain, and might even stop the questions...at that point, if you DO get the same "where/what is it" type questions, a /squelch is perfectly in order.

I'm not trying to judge you or your LFM, but I have always thought of Guild Only LFM's to be ridiculously stupid.

If you're in a guild, use guild chat. If you have alts in other guilds, set up a guild cross chat channel that members can use.

    Just my 2 cents.

Maybe some guild members get lost and need a beacon?

    Then this should help.

Haven't seen a better DDO beacon yet.

Ahh Scrib such the life of a guild with a name that would make a cool quest/raid title

But more often then not people dont read they seen an lfm see its in their level range and bombard you its the way it is.

We had a shroud lfm up where we said "Bring proof of booze" as you know my guild is kinda into drinking.. Had someone join who thought we meant to get into the shroud you had to have done "proof is in the poison.."

Migrane inducing yes but it happens and all you can do is laugh it off.

The point of the lfm is a place for the guildies to click on to join rather than inviting everyone individually...I guess I am just lazy that way.

I can see that, but to be honest, I think setting up an LFM takes more effort than opening the guild tab and hitting invites on all the people going.

    Again, just my opinion.

Only a noob would click on a Twisted Fate LFM ... as they have no idea how gimp we are

Next time we should take the pugger down to the sub, tell him its a walkup. Then proceed to engage in some bizarre naked ritual where we dance in firewalls and blade barriers while chanting over voice. See how fast they drop.

    lol

I remember a guild who used to get made fun of for this very thing on our server. Don't see them doing this any longer. Oh, use a chat channel if you have people in multiple guilds. I know 99% of the guilds on the server can manage just fine without cluttering up the LFM screen By the way it is just about the same as the newbs who post an lfm "Hey dave join!"

It must be a huge guild for no one to know them and think it's a quest lol

Do you really think that anyone that sends you those tells will be the same person that spends enough time on the forums to read this post? The forum community is much smaller than the game community. There are really just a select few that even come on here. Most of the people that do come in here would not be the people that bug you with tells.

Basically the way I see it is that if you are so lazy that you use a guild only LFM and not type the words "guild only" I would figure that you would be lazy enough to ignore tells.

Maybe you should say "Twisted Fate guild members only" if you have that much of a problem with it.

It's not really that farfetched that someone would ask considering that there's new content that was released last week

You are the problem and only you can fix it. Posting here won't help.

    Thank you, that is all.

Best Beacon(s) I've seen were placed as bumpers on that Succubus that caused so much Puritan Wrath.
