    Default Question about game reliability...

I just had a question to ask regarding the reliability of the game in terms of coding and structure.

Has this game ever had a history of exploitation? I.E.: Has this game been easy to hack into in the past, have there been many exploits in this game that give you an unfair advantage, exc. exc.?

Its just that I'm worried that somebody could just hack their way into the game and do all sorts of stuff, like gain levels super-fast, have unlimited mana, block spells and other harmful effects illegally, do triple or more damage that is not under normal game rules, conjure items instantly that normally take months to make, something along those categories. It would be a shame if I knew that such things happen, because then it would put all my devoted time and work into the game into the garbage. And I was just wondering how 'secure' this game is in terms of integrity safeguards.

And yes, I am aware that 'goldsellers' are in the game, but thats pretty much a problem in all MMORPG'S, sadly...

I've known people to take advantage of certain game mechanics or bugs within the game to gain an edge... but never to hack the game itself.

Could it happen? Sure, even the Pentagon can be hacked. Is it likely, or even worth the effort? I wouldn't think so.

    What he said.

And why is it that the OP's post almost seemed like "nudge nudge wink wink are there any naughty programs I should be looking for on the net to help me cheat at this game?"

I think it has more to do with the OP's other thread about spell blockage.

    Hey its ok.

Plus on top of that, I might be a VERY dumb player(With an IQ score of 60 last I checked), but I know that, if I were to ask for hacks here, I would probably get shut down by a GM moderator. Or the cube. If I were to ask for how to 'hack' the game I wouldn't get any advice. Nor do I know where I would look for advice. Which may be a good thing...

Also, most hacking problems sadly do nothing more than steal your password and other account information. So I wouldn't want to look for one anyways. I just wanted to know if this game was secure from hackers and such. For bugs...idk, there was a bug YEARS ago where you could attack very fast, have another combo and be unable to cast spells but I dont remember the details. It was such a while ago... Does this game have bugs? Yes. Are the bugs exploitable most of the time? Thankfully, no.
