what amount of HP is acceptable end game for amrath and epic quests pretty much? this includes tanking Horrath etc.

the toon i'm interested in this for has between 70and80ac most raid groups i'm in, can fall to 60-65 if self buffing etc. and currently has 541hp, is this enough?

I wouldnt tank horoth with less than 600 myself. Id like to have 650 or better honestly. This is strictly in relation to his disintegrate/dot spells. Disintegrate can hit for up 530ish on a failed save (a 1 on most tanks) and his dots can tick upwards of mid 40's damage every few seconds usually x2 but may be x3. 650 hp gives most healers just enough cushion with a high ac build to get your health bar back up if you roll a 1 vs disinigrate.

Might you make it all the way through without rolling a 1, sure, you might also roll 2 1's in the same raid. In a raid where the boss regens massive hp everytime someone dies, its not worth it to me to tank him with less, though Im sure people do it all the time.

tyvm Quickster, i have been trying to decide if TRing that toon is worth it or not, the 541hp is on WF with a base 14con (no tome) 1st TR would raise that to a 16con, a 2nd TR and removing 2points from elsewhere would take me to an 18con eating a +2tome would increase my HP to 601. (621 raged)

this might then b just on the border of being acceptable for end game tanking
