Currently I have a lvl 19 halfling monk build around the same lines as Rockan Robins monk.. however... Level drain blows chunks hard.. so I've been debating on TR'n it as a WF monk instead.
Here's what I've been able to swing about with a 34 point build in the new character gen, however I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the equipment section to work right...
So I'm here asking you monk goru's for opinions and tweaks to my already outlined character.
I'm thinking of dropping the hide and move silently for more important skills, like jump, tumble, ect, only because I havn't used sneak mode very much if at all on my current monk.
I'm wanting to stay high wis because I am loving the stunning fist DC, as well as the quivering palm DC that my halfling is currently enjoying.
Stunning fist DC: 10 base + 10 (20 monk/2) + 13 wis modifier + 10 weighted +2 WF tactics= 45 DC stunning fist
Quivering palm DC: 10 base + 10 (20 monk/2) + 13 wis modifier = 33 instakill DC (35 if wf tactics applies?)
I know I will be losing AC by doing this, though I'm hoping to offset that by going with the new upgraded quoriforged docent, and freeing up my helmet/belt slot for other things. Granted it means I have to find a resistance item, but by being in ocean stance instead of air stance (slower attacks I know), it should offset the loss of saves from a resistance item, or i could move the mineral 2 to my belt and get a resistance cloak...
Anyways, What do you all think?
