Stuck on loading screens.

Okay, this problem has occurred a couple of times already.

When I enter a dungeon, the loading screen appears, but the bar wont move. The music keeps going, and to the right of the screen there a veeeeeeeery thin strip through which I see the environment I was in before, and if I move the mouse around it changes. I can do nothing, I checked if I could type but no, the typing sound doesn't occur. If I quit the game and restart, the same happens at the loading screen after I choose my character.


Umm... help?

Sounds like a connection issue to me. Some additional information would be helpful. Are you on a wired or wireless network? Cable or DSL? Which OS are you using? Do you have a firewall or internet security software running?

Wired to a DSL router. My firewall is usually on.

Windows 7 32-bit.

But if one of those was the reason, doncha think the problem would ALWAYS occur? It happens occasionally.

No, it happens to everyone now and then. I haven't had it happen myself in a while, but when it does, you can hit enter, type /logout, and enter again, and it will log you out. That is the preferred method, rather than just closing the program which can result in a "character not finished saving" error, that will leave your character unplayable.
