Using Guest Passes!!!

I just bought three different adventure packs to try and see if I could get better than average drops for gear, I wanted to take a friend, so I buy a guest pass and I tried everything to activate it and it just keeps saying the other player must use it, it won't let me trade it, it say's it is bound to account so what do I do?

You have to put the guest pass in your hotbar.. select the person you want to use it on, and then click on the guest pass. It works just like putting a buff on the player.
