Turbine message serivce and Turbine download manager causing massive CPU/Memory usage

I installed the game using Turbine download manager, which now I see is a very bad way to do so. I leave my computer on 24/7. Everyday I would start up/shut down DDO client a few times. In the first few startups/shutdowns, everything runs ok. But the more you startup/shut down DDO clients, the Turbine messaging service and Turbine download manager consumes more memory, until they consumes 200MB of memory and 60% CPU power for apparently nothing. Then I have to manually kill the processes and the cycle starts over.

Can we disable Turbine messaging service and Turbine download service everytime DDO client is started? I have both services disabled in services.msc but they both still start up when DDO client is running.

You can uninstall the turbine download manager, and still play the game.
