    Default Problems with Lamannia Install

I'm having some trouble getting Lamannia to install for me. I downloaded the Lamannia client, but every time I click it to install it, it pops up on the toolbar with "Setup" and promptly vanishes, doing nothing. The first time I did it everything went fine, the installer popped up and I clicked install, then when I pulled up the Lamannia client it said "Up to date", assumed I could get on, tried to, but nothing happened. So I uninstalled it, which I had to do manually, since the uninstall button didn't do what it was supposed to, instead gave me some error. I downloaded it again, now when I click the installer icon, like I said, it pops up with "Setup" at the bottom, then vanishes and does nothing. I've downloaded it five times, some reason or another thinking that would help, but it keeps doing the same thing. What am I missing here? I'd like to play on Lamannia, but I'm thinking the installer has become self aware and just hates me. Anyone know a way to fix this? Highly annoying and discouraging.

Edit: Ok, I managed to get around the problem myself. Way more trouble than it should have been, but I figured it out.

Hey ChilliCheeseDog, what was your fix. I'm having the same issue on XP (I think) and could really use any idea's you might have on fixing this issue.
