Problems Getting To Stormreach

I hope this is in the right area of forums but my friend just joined today and I wanted him to be able to party my character so when he went to the boat person in Korthos and to skip the Korthos story and go to Stormreach, it says something about content downloading, and for him to try again later.

I created a new character to see if I would get same thing, but I got to Stormreach with no problems. So it must be a problem on his end. Any idea what that may be? Did he click on the proper download? He clicked on the turbine one, not the normal or high resolution one.

I am also getting this message when trying to get to Stormreach, after completing the Korthos Island storyline. Created a second character and skipped the storyline, same result. Keeps telling me "Content Downloading. Please try again in a moment.

Gents: I suspect the full game has not downloaded onto your computer yet. If you use the Turbine Download Manager (TDM), it loads the game in 4 distinct parcels.

1) Beach and intro quest
2) Korthos village
3) Korthos Island
4) Full game

With the manager in the background, you can begin playing after 1 is complete. #2 must finish before you can exit the intro quest and get to the village, etc. If you are just starting to download, you will not be able to get to Stormreach until the full game is done. I have a modest DSL connection and it took about 12 hours for the full download.

Leave your computer on overnight and watch the download progress (there should be a turnbine symbol on your tray). If you let your computer idle, it may go faster.
