Put the stat's raises in str. and remember to wear light armor. Other then at, I would say, looks ok.

    So sad but true.

Looks ok to me, just make sure that you don't wear armor that will prevent evasion, tower shields are fine though. You will also need wis items to cast but thats no big deal.

If it were me, I would replace dodge with toughness and toughness with IC:slash. Improved critical is going to do a lot more for you than 1 AC is.

Oh, and I agree with Rezo that level points should go to strength.

    sweet thanks,
added toughness earlier, took out dodge, and put all stat raises in str

so, you both seemed to think it was viable, does that also imply end-game viable? or just viable? Have you played or played with a similar character in endgame?

Yes, very end game viable. KoTC III TWF Paladin's are top tier DPS end game. This is exactly what I did when I TR'd my Paladin. Suggest wearing Icy Rainments and +8 bracers if you have them, if not geek out a DT robe / outfit and wear Chaosgardes. Alternatively, just skip the armor entirely and wear crafted guards.

Having top tier DPS, maxed UMD and Intimidate, and evasion is pretty sexy.

I have an 18/2 paladin/rogue, Knight of the Chalice that rocks end-game...

He can solo very well too, with full ranks in UMD.

But he's a DPS build... with no AC... he uses displacement and stoneskin clickables, and self-healing (Lay on Hands, Heal scrolls) for defense.

Not sure how well you'll do as an AC build.. Have you done the numbers, what kind of AC can you reach?

Callisto V1.0 was an S/B evasion paladin. I had the DoS PrC (only tier II), and in that stance with just self buffs like CE I was able to hit 62 AC. Obviously the tier III and ToD set would have added three more AC, and full raid buffs is what, another +10 or more?

Not the best AC, but not shabby either.

EDIT Callisto was my Mar 2006 Paladin that I TR'd

If you are wanting to take rogue just for evasion and no rouge skills then yes. If you are wanting to be able to find and disable lvl 6+ quests, then no.

potential AC looks very good. With only a few easier to obtain items he's at.
    10 base
    10 mith bp
    7 dex
    9 shield
    5 protection
    2 achemical
    1 dodge
    5 Aura
    5 CE
    4 shroud insight
    2 chaosguard
    62 standing

    4 stance
    4 blocking
    70 defender stance

but I don't see the improved critical feat. I would drop dodge for it. Also, i'd get toughness in earlier. You're passing up a lot of HP on the way up to 18.

In general, this is a reasonable build. Because you are a dwarf who doesn't plan to use divine might, you might consider dropping your starting CHA to 12 and boosting your STR to 16. Also, is OTWF adding enough to your build to be worthwhile? Extend would be a better choice, and with an AC-intensive build like this one, even two-weapon defense might help you more than OTWF.
