Can't load "VILLAGE"

I am attempting to play the game but after the dungeon I must enter a village, but it is not loading past 88.5%. I have attempted to restart to no avail.

A friend of mind had the same problem. The download would hang on 45 percent each time. She tried restating it and nothing helped. She gave up out of frustration. I would love for her to try the game but I'm not sure what else to tell her to do.

post your dxdiag files for more assistance. there could be many hardware issues that cause problems like this.

give it a little time, i am sure one of the technical reps at turbine will drop in to give some instruction. i assure you the game is great! what OS are you running? Im at a loss for figuring out how to post a DXDIAG in vista

when u play the game is it chopy or laggy for u?..... and is there any error messages if u leave it running?

no its not choppy for me !! i know i dont have the best graphics card but its still not choppy or laggy and it just stays at 96% loading VILLAGE .....

i've got the same problem. what to do? im getting frustrated!

I think the problem is the TDM because it shows only 1 kb/s dowloading :S

I recall having a similar issue wayyy back when I had to reinstall the game. I'm assuming you're using the TDM (Turbine Download Manager)? Exit game, in the bottom right corner (i think?) of the TDM there's a drop-down menu. See if there is a "repair" option and try that.

If that doesn't work, uninstall and download w/o using the TDM. (although, try getting ahold of the tech team first.)

Your right !! If you open Turbine Download manager you can go to details and see the progress its making on downloading the VILLAGE... Thanks for the help
