Halls of STK Bridge

Has anyone else had trouble getting the bridge to drop in Halls of STK? You have to hit the lever from across the water, but I wasted 100 arrows trying to get it to work, and finally gave up. It's not because I'm a lousy shot (I took out a couple of Hobgoblins while I was at it). Is this a bug?

I never tried that, I just take the secret door to go behind the bridge.

Sometimes, sometimes not. Hard to say if it's for sure, but one time i turned off autotarget and it worked better. When doing it for just favor i hit the bridge but if doing it for xp i go the secret door route.

All i can say is try hitting g to turn it off, see if that helps, and then if it doesn't try it with it on. Or go into first person to aim better for it.

I know some switches you have to manually aim at instead of hard-targeting them, might want to try that (just go into mouselook and center the circle on it, then shoot).
