Default New to Pay to Play

So I beta tested this game way back in the day, and played for a couple months past release....but got drawn over to WoW with all of my friends.

Recently I started doing the Free to play to see how the game had changed in the last couple of years and I have to say that I'm very impressed with it....So impressed that I became a VIP.

Now my questions is, I know there are a lot of "Adventure Packs" and other Pay to play features that I'm not taking advantage of, and I was curious if anyone could clue me in on them. Mainly what areas are these adventure packs, what level can I be to go there(so I can level up in them) and any other tips you would have for a new VIP.

    Thanks in advance!

You won't have to worry about Adventure Packs now that you are VIP.

They are basically quest packs, like Deleras Graveyard, Three-Barrel Cove, SorrowDusk, etc. As a Premium or F2P, you have to purchase those areas to play in them, but as VIP you get them all for free.

If you want a list, look in the DDO Store, you'll see a Guest Pass section, that will display all of the quests that are considered Aventure Packs.

First of all, welcome to VIP and back to the game. I'm a fairly recent returnee as well.

As for the adventures, I found this thread immensely useful: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=199945

EDIT: Also, what Cedwin said... as VIP you have access to all of the adventure packs and don't need to buy them unless you downgrade to premium.

A lot of the quests that are bundled into adventurepacks are at various levels, so you won't be able to take advantage of them all at once. As you level, you'll get to the additional content.

Thanks! That thread looks to be exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on any content. So far I'm loving the game. Its a nice change of pace, and I always missed the combat from DDO!

    Default VIP-itude

The Adventure Packs begin at level 3, with the Catacombs series.

However, being VIP, the packs will be invisible to you - F2P players see red chalice icons for quest content they can't access - all the chalices will be gold for you.
