    Default Cross-server LFG

Ever had that time that you could just never play an instance bcos nobody wants to group with you??? Too little ppl to group with??? Sounds familiar? Is this YOUR situation?

So i was thinkin whether turbine would implement cross-server LFG just like how WoW(with major success) did and for those who want to play premium content, there would be a lot more ppl who would join... Just a suggestion

I see it could be closer to how Champions Online does it, since it's sort of instanced like DDO.

Although i'd be always happy to server segregation go away for all games.

it would be cool to have pvp areas that were instanced and could have players from all the servers in them.

if you like the whole 'one server' thing then EVE online has that I think.

EvE has one "server", but each system is basically an instance anyway. Doesn't help lag when big battles get going though.

(used to play EvE, just got sick of it, and am anxiously waiting any other space mmo)

Yeah, I got tired of getting ambushed by pirates. Same routine....knock out warp drive, suck my ship's energy to zero, blast me away. All so fast I can't ever have enough time to eject. I know...stay out of low sec. but that's where all the action is.

Also...looking forward to cross-server LFG too. You will almost instantly get a group for any quests (n/h/e). This will suck new people in since there's action all the time.

What used to be fun was preying on the so-called pirates in lowsec, and even better 0.0. Bluntly most of them suck.

Oh, and flying a Claw which did 4km/s, had a 10km weapon range with autocannon, could rip up cruisers solo and had 1.5k armour along with a tiny sig radius. Was mildly infamous for that back in the day (especially against Amarr RPers, given the design was basically invulnerable to long range laser fire...)

Shame they increasingly did away heavily with individual skill in favour of mass warfare as a serious option - things like breaking a 200+ member lowsec alliance and their 40 odd hired mercs by wardeccing and following through with 12 players skilled was fun. And finding a traderun no other corp knew about for two weeks. Being a member of the most hated RP corp in Eve. Fighting on the side of light in the Great Northern War, and dreaming up and implementing a strategy which whacked an upty "ally" in a week afterwards when they were silly enough to wardec us. Escorting a freighter carrying vital supplies through three ambushes. Sniping a frigate fleet commander from 120km away in a Munnin. Supplying a mercenary alliance while they made a bold stroke at the enemy capital...

But er yea...never quite understood the separate server thing for DDO, given everything's instanced anyway.

Exactly wat i thought, the way the game's built separate servers aren't required, even going out into the wilderness is an instance!!!

Being a WoW player for just a few days (5 month and i figured it wasn't worth it), i am amused by the sheer amount of ppl around and elimination of the need to even wait for more than 10 minutes to get a group, how many servers are there in WoW??? What made it a huge success was the ease to just get a group and get into the action, no delay...
