Reread over the terms: points are granted on the anniversary of your subscription, that is, 1 month later.

Actually, points are granted within 48 hours of a successful subscription payment. They are also granted on the anniversary for players who pay with multi month subscription. For more information please see this sticky.

That makes more sense, otherwise not renewing after your first month would grant you no points...

Took me about 3 days to get mine wanted those double points for those two months.
