Person Æ, SarlonaTanka (Elf Tempest Trapper) .:. Darani (Aasimar Inquisileric) .:. Raelyth (Elf Artifonk)
Rather than waste my time showing you the error in your judgments, like many other people have already done and been disrespected by you for their efforts, I'd like to see you level your dream build to cap and then write us a report on why you think it's the greatest.
Thanks.
The only person who has been disrespected for the efforts was me in the earlier build i put up here. If you or anyone else can't post or link to a better build, then everything said is hear say as you have no proof.
*****ALL COMMENTS GOING FORWARD ARE INVALID WITH OUT A BUILD OR SHOWING A LINK TO ONE*****

Says who? This isn't your thread...and no one here seems to agree with your pov.
As far as you being disrespected, this was your first response to the OP, the first impression you gave everyone when you got in here:
You started the name calling, and gave your ill formed opinion about a mediocre build to the OP.
Go build your uber 1000 HP do-nothing, and then report back to your elders.

Revenants
You're hurting your case.... 1000 hps does not make a good character...
18 levels of barbarian or your DPS is gimp. Even I say that, who hates the way most people on these boards throw out the word "gimp" when talking about a 1% difference in DPS...
Missing FBIII is not tiny... Missing FBIII is about a 30% reduction in one's DPS (if not more). You can splash two levels on a barbarian... that's it.
That's pretty simple... a better build would be a 20 barbarian with 18 STR, 16 CON, all level-ups in STR
Feats:
Power Attack
Toughness
Cleave
THF
ITHF
GTHF
Improved Critical:Slash (replace with Stunning Blow if you want after you get a Min II weapon)
There... done... That build will have plenty of hps (you don't get much benefit past 600-700), and a lot more DPS...
Read the compendium... Read what FB III gets you....
+4 STR
+2 critical multiplier on a 19-20
4d6 damage per swing
If you're doing about 70 points of damage on that first number... then getting +2 crit multipliers equals 140 points of extra damage every 10 swings, or 14 points every swing...
4d6 equals 14 (4 x 3.5) points of damage every swing...
4 STR equals 2 points of damage every swing..
We're talking about 30 points of extra damage every swing... that the 16/4 doesn't get...
That's huge...

If pictures are worth so much then

80 STR that's nearly double the 42 from the pic you have posted. This build also has Frenzied Beserker III so d6 Vicious Damage on top of a higher critical multiplier.

And a video of the build in action.

As you can see his nearly 800 HP isn't enough to keep him going as he drinks potions to heal up.
Any build needs HP, some more than others. Barbs tend to need a larger pool than other classes as they don't mitigate damage as well. But after a certain point increasing a builds HP pool is actually counterproductive as it takes away from other areas. Like DPS or saves. The same is true of AC builds once they reach the point where they can only be hit on a 20 then any effort that increases his ac is wasted. The most effective builds focus on a few areas but don't totally ignore others.
