Game box VIP and points

Questions:

1. If I apply an unused Product Key from a game box (not trial, full 30 days), do I receive the free 500 points for being VIP?

2. I've been reading threads on the forum, and it says you get points within 48 hours of your account being "charged in the morning." But in the case of applying a Product Key, does my account get "charged?" (no payment method, only applied Product Key.)

Prodcut keys can only be used to upgrade an account, not add time. So if you don't have the access the key from the box will add, then you can add it to your account. So if you have a free or VIP account that you never added a box key to before, you can add one now. If you previously added a Stormreach box key before, and you're lucky enough to find a Limited key, you can add that to the account.

When you add a key, you'll get a month of play time, and the points will be added within the next 2 days. So if you add the key on 12/20, you'll get the points on 12/21 or 12/22.
