    Thumbs down Appareantly I'm Premium.

    Yesterday I created my VIP account. Today I log on, get a throwaway character to level 4 and was just about to buy Veteran Status when I get booted from the world. I log back on, and see that I'm for some reason a Premium now. What gives? I played for quite a few hours as a VIP, I bought the large point pack, and everything worked fine.

    This is seriously cramping my style :/

    The billing system always charges subscription fees in the morning. So if you now have Premium access, it is likely that the subscription fee wasn't paid by your card company. You should be able to confirm on your card statement. You can also contact the Account Management department to confirm.

    In order to have VIP access again you'll need to update your card and click to "Get Unlimited Access". You can also contact the Account Management department to manually process the charge and reinstate you.

    I have a question: the billing adress of my card contains a non-english character (namely, an Ö). When I check my account details on the myaccount.ddo-site, the adress listed has the ö removed from it, even if I just retyped it.

    You think this could be the source of my problems? My adress containing a letter not "supported" by your database?

    (And if so, is there any way to fix it other than for me to move? :/)

    Well.... moving can be fun.

    However I wouldn't recommend that just to play DDO.

    I wouldn't worry about that particular character and the spelling of the street. While our system does have very strict verifications, I don't believe that special characters of that sort (or lack of) causes any problems.

    Besides, a little Beholder tells me that your account is all set now. If you're not sure why the payment didn't process originally, you might want to touch base with your bank or credit card company.
