    Default 7Wizard/1[Monk or Rogue]/12[Paladin or Fighter]

    So I've been having a blast with my Halfling Ranger/Wizard/Rogue build Maskurades and I read a few posts about how Warforged battlecasters can be self sufficient without use of Reconstruct using RSD with Maximize. This makes me think you can make a more DPS melee with some of the nicer PrC like Kensai II or KoTC II with 1 level of rogue for UMD/Intimidate or 1 level of monk for Wisdom AC.

    What are your thoughts on this?

    Repair serious damage is a level 3 spell. Stop your wizard at 6, take 2 rogue/monk levels for evasion, go pally to ensure a decent reflex save, and forget about being able to cast wall of fire. Past about level 14 almost everything has some form of fire resist and yours will just barely be able to beat that resistance.

    Paladin can cast Zeal spell at level 14.

    Normally I like /splash Wizards, but IMO a Pal/Sor mix would be better. Since you would gain benefits to both classses from a high Cha.

    Woops I had meant repair critical. I feel like way too many people put an emphasis on evasion when high reflex with protection/resist energy with firestorm greeves and fire shield will negate most if not all damage. It may help you survive a trap on elite but then your character is giving up d8 * 2(Maximize) *1.30(Repair Enhancement) *1.50(Potency) *2(Crit) = 62 potential points of healing per cast.

    Paladin 14/Wizard 5/[Monk for AC or Rogue for Intimidate/UMD] 1 would be a decent build too since you would have LOH as back up healing.
