Vista issues

I am running vista on my laptop, and im having some major issues. whenever i try to play the game, it won't even start up. I've tried to get it set to run as administrator, but there isn't even an option for that. does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this issue?

okies i had a similer problem with my icon doing absolutly nothing so here how i fixed it

go to the non working icon(under games for vista)
right click it
go to customize
click add
click browse
computer>cdrive(or what ever u have it installed 2)>programfiles>turbine>maximize the ddo folder> find the icon that says ddlauncher
