    Default Level 6 Perma Character

Well a friend of mine and I have decided that pvp is the best way to keep ourselves occupied. Now because were both lazy and don't feel like grinding multiple characters to 20 to find out what we enjoy best we decided twinking low levels would work best. So, what I'm looking for are you opinions on what the best level 6 duelist will require. Don't give me builds, I plan on building my own. However, advice is definately wanted.

rapiers or khopesh would be your best choices to duel wield,
rapiers - 18-20/x2 on crit, feat:improved crit 15-20 or keen rapier, feat:finesse feat(allows your dmg be based off dex with various weapons)
khopesh - 19-20 on crit, improved crit 16-20/x3

Is dual wielding going to be the best for dueling at low levels? I mean will I be able to pump my saves high enough to take on a caster as well as go toe to toe with any other fighter? I've been thinking lots about it and it's not hard to get your ac to about 33 at that level. Which means an average +to hit would probably hit you on a 13+. Thats pretty good for a defensive build... maybe defensive will be the best offense at that level?

I think dual wielding keen rapiers of puncturing would be good for a dual wielder. Or the kukri version if those are unavailable. Only problem is that means I couldn't take a level in monk for any of the AC or saves which is kind of a pain.

Kukris cant puncture but short swords can.

Kukri's can enfeeble though. Which I know isn't as good, but a mage duelist will have high con while having low str. If you can get any stat to 0 you win either way so..

You could still take a level of monk. You would still receive the saving throws a monk receives. You would still receive the AC bonus a monk receives. What you would lose (from not being centered) would be any stances you'd taken and the (extra) +1 attack bonus.

How does this look? The Weapon Focus would be piercing or slashing depending on what I find kukris or rapiers. The saves seem pretty decent, and armor will be roughly:

    10
    +7 Dex
    +4 Wis
    +1 Monk
    +4 Bracers of Armor
    +3 Barkskin
    +2 Cloak of Protection
    +1 Dodge

So 32ish that also seems pretty respectable for that level.

Like several people have mentioned, getting your AC into the 30s isn't going to be hard at that level. So instead of trying to get your attack high enough to penetrate it try relying on attack speed and crits. TWF a pair of +1 elemental burst heavy picks of maiming (correct me if I'm wrong but that should be 1d8+1d6+str x4+3d10+3d6).

Make use of haste potions + fighter action boost to get your attack speed sky high, and take a couple levels in Monk for AC/saves. You also might want to buy a Scarab of Protection just so you can really laugh at casters.

    Edit: Miscalculated I think.

I'm pretty sure you can get your AC way past 33 at that level. I didn't read this whole mess. Are you set on dual wielding? Honeslty I think the additional reach of a two hander is probably good for this sort of thing. If it were me, I'd go high AC Warforged Fighter/Ranger or Fighter/Barbarian or something similar. Use a tower shield for melee opponents and a two hander for casters. Defenitely trip and stunning blow. If you did a Fighter/Barbarian, I'm guessing the stunning blow is going to land most of the time in PVP...
