Cleric needs advice on you guys!

Hey there, Warforgys-

I have a line of DHs that I can drop on you guys to heal if need be, and I don't mind busting a few heal scrolls during fights, but I have a question.....

What about shrines?

I know that my heal skill affects how many HP players recover when resting at a shrine... what if I were to wear not only a sustenance item, but a repair item as well? Will donning a repair item while a Warforged shrines allow them to recover full HP?

Second question-
I'm planning on capping my higher level cleric as pure class, but just started a lowbie- If I'm correct, Paladins get LOH at second level.... is it....weird to take two levels of Paladin?

2 Levels of paladin has its benefits but I don't think they are worth it if the rest of the levels are cleric. The best thing too splash with cleric is 2 monk levels... unless you are much more DPS focused then possibly 2 fighter. That is what I did and I absolutely love my warpriest.

While it's true that a high repair skill will provide more HP recovery from a shrine, it's not one of a cleric's class skill. Yes, you could still wear a repair item to help them recover more, but so could they.

I wouldn't recommend putting any skill points into either Heal or Repair, at least not with the current implementation of the skill. If you have extra skill points to burn on a cleric, you might want to consider a re-roll (or TR) with a lower intelligence.

I wouldn't recommend it even if you were a race that could benefit, and you have it as a class skill.

Lol, ok- won't ask you if multiclassing is weird.

I'm just thinking that if it were something as easy as equipping a pair of bracers before shrining, I'd gladly do so.
