It's a part of the VIP/Premium/Free to Play tier system. If you downgrade from a VIP to a Premium at any time - you will need to purchase any VIP content. Warforged being one of them. Since you no longer pay - but did formerly - you are now considered a Premium player, and have lost all VIP benefits. Warforged being one of them.

It's pretty well documented so perhaps you should also thank yourself for not bothering to be informed...

Just stating how silly I think it is, thats all. I dont see how its cool that this class was free to play the other day and now its not. But hey silly me for having an opinion.

W T F? That wasn't funny. You post things that aren't funny, Mem? When did this happen? Your posts are so funny you've ascended. Someone should notify the Abbot and let him know that there is an easier way, and one that won't inspire a bunch of adventurers to go kill him every 3 days.

And, "CONSECRATED?!" There is something above "Hero of the People" apparently. Silliness.

I had no idea... anyone know how long it's been like that? I stopped even checking, and thought Hero was the end of the road in that regard.

And I do agree - it is silliness.
