Screen problem

May as well post this while I await my download to finish.

For the past week or so, every now and then during play while in combat, the screen minimizes itself. I have to click the cursor on the minimized box in my toolbar for it to maximize.

Any idea what causes this and how to prevent it in the future?

Did you recently update to AVG 9? Some players (myself included ) we're seeing this with the AVG "pop up" about the "Upgrade to 9.0" message that was coming up. Seems even after the install of the update to 9.0 this popup was still trying to .. well .. popup.

IIRC what I ended up doing was to reboot the PC after the update (still was minimizing my full screen games) and so I right-clicked the AVG icon and choose the "Update Now" option, let it cycle through that and poof no more minimizing.

If it's something else though (ie. you don't use AVG) post your dxdiag when you get a chance (steps on how to do so are in my sig via the linked "how to get help..." sticky)
