    Default Rahl's Wrath repair bill?

I recently picked up Rahl's wrath(the ML6 Kama) and I noticed in my first quest that it was broken. At first I thought maybe I got it on low durability so I repaired and dove back in only to find after 4 kills it had lost 8 points(91/99 lost 1 on repair) So I figured it might be the stuff I'm fighting so I switched to my other Kamas (13 hardness where Rahls is 14) and fought through the whole dungeon without losing a single point.

Any idea whats going on? higher hardness should mean it lasts longer right?

were you fighting the same monsters in both dungeons? If you were fighting rust monsters in the first and not in the second, you'd see that difference...

Curiosity begs me to ask, what difficulty? A monster's CR is the value used to determine how quickly a weapon breaks (so things tend to wear down faster on the CR 14 Earth Elementals and CR 18 Flesh Renders on elite, compared to their lesser versions on normal and hard). The exception to this is corrosive attacks (rust monsters, oozes, and spider acid spittle degrade things fast) and true incorporeal beings (which cause no damage to equipment).

The other thing to consider is that random is as random does. Flukes do occur, such as a quick degradation of that kama within 4 monsters.

The western ruins have oozes mixed in with other monsters. Oozes eat your weapons. (Threnal, right?)
