    Default Black screen on login

Since yesterday I get a black screen when I try to log in to DnD. It happens after selecting the server, when the splash screen with the thin clad lady normally shows.
When opening the task manager it gives me a "program does not react" message, and a windows pop up which states the same, and closes the program.

I updated my NVidia drivers yesterday (to the 195.62 version for Vista 64), so I think this might be the culprit. Anyone else having this kind of troubles?

(I am running Windows Vista Home 64 on an Intel i7, Asus NVidia 265 card, and since yesterday the 195.62 driver. Al my other programs are running fine).

Ok, I uninstalled the NVidia drivers, and reinstalled my old ones (185.85 for Vista 64 bits).

    DnD ran fine.

So I think the conclusion must be that the new NVidia drivers (at least for Vista 64 bits) are not (yet) compatible with DnD - at least for the rig I am running.

"For the rig you are running" is right - I have the latest drivers with an 8800GT, no issues.

Share with us what rig you are running, so others with the same graphics card can avoid the issues you had?

    I am on

    Intel i7 920 (@ 2.67 GHz),
    Asus Nvidia GTX 265,
    6 gig of memory,
Vista Home Premium 64 bits with SP3

Nothing special, but if it runs on your system, and you are also on Vista Home 64 bits, it might be the 265 card in combination with the drivers, in combination with the game (glad I am not a developer, needing to support al those combi's).
